These terms apply when you use kiteshot.com and when you book work from Kiteshot, a managed drone service based in Cape Town, South Africa. Your booking confirmation can add terms for a specific job. Pilots, operators and partners have separate agreements.

• Prices on the site are launch prices in rand and exclude VAT.
• The instant price is an estimate until we confirm it by email, after we check the airspace and the site.
• Larger sites and specialist work are quoted by our team, usually within one working day.
• We can change prices on the site at any time. The price in your confirmation is the price you pay.

• A booking is confirmed when we confirm it by email and you accept.
• Drone flights depend on the weather, so we book a date window instead of an exact time.
• If the weather, the airspace or safety stops the flight, we agree a new window with you at no extra cost.
• The pilot can stop or postpone a flight at any time for safety reasons.

• Month-to-month plans have a 6-month minimum.
• 12-month and 24-month plans cost less per month, as shown on the site.
• You can pause a plan between flights. Tell us before the next date window starts.

• You confirm that you may have the site flown, or that you have the owner's permission.
• You give the pilot access where needed and tell us about hazards, such as power lines or animals.
• Where needed, you tell residents or neighbours about the flight, for example through the managing agent.

• You receive the work described for the service you booked, in your online archive or by link.
• Delivery times on the site, such as 48 hours for property media, count from the day of the flight.
• If something is wrong with the work, tell us within 7 days and we fix it or fly again.

Our reports show what can be seen from the air. AI marks possible findings and a person on our team checks every one before the report goes out.

A report is not an engineering report, a land survey, thermography certification or agronomic advice, unless a qualified specialist has signed it. Decisions based on a report are yours, or those of the qualified people you work with.

You may use the finished work for any lawful purpose, including marketing and reports to others. Kiteshot keeps the copyright. We use your work in our own marketing only with your permission.

Every paid flight is flown by a licensed pilot under a UAS Operating Certificate, with third-party liability insurance.

As far as the law allows, our liability for a job is limited to the amount you paid for that job, and we are not liable for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

Information on the site, including the licence guides, is general information and not legal advice. Please do not misuse the forms or try to access parts of the site that are not public.
