Every job starts with an airspace check. Every pilot is licensed, insured and flies under UK CAA drone rules (Specific and Open categories).
Some shoots need extra permission, such as events near people. Your pilot arranges it where needed and tells you what is possible. If a shot is not safe or legal, we tell you before you book.
Questions
Questions about hiring a pilot.
Do you edit the footage?
No. This service is raw files only. If you want finished work, book property media or site records instead, and we do the editing.
What files do I get?
The original photo and video files straight from the drone, uploaded the same day to a download link you can share with your editor.
Can the pilot fly over the crowd at my event?
Flying over or near people needs extra permission and planning. Your pilot checks what's allowed and arranges permission where it's needed. Some shots are not allowed, and we tell you before you book.
How much notice do you need?
As much as possible. Airspace checks and permissions take time, especially for events and busy areas.
What about travel?
Travel terms are set at launch.
Can I direct the pilot on the day?
Yes. You decide the shots. The pilot makes the final decision on safety and the rules.
